  • 650 – “Original” drive. Operated in V/Hz mode only.

  • 650V – “Vector” drive had sensorless vector control built in (in addition to V/Hz mode).

  • 650G – Was a 650V drive in almost every aspect, but with performance enhancement traits tailoring it to China’s target market at the time. Primarily operated at slower speeds.

  • 650S – “Servo” was capable of sensorless vector PMAC control. Originally out of Europe.

    • Information was/is limited for this variant in North America. Support was limited in the US then, and is no longer available now.

  • 65x – “Unique” variants such as the “652-“. Originally out of Europe.

    • Documentation denoting these variants is limited in North America. Many were, and remain, proprietary to Parker Europe (EME) or their customers. Support was limited in the US then, and is no longer available now.

There is no drop-in replacement for the 650 family.
