Below chart shows the compatibility of the Compax3 controller board revision (CTP) and firmware (.fwp):
To determine the Compax3 controller board version
Connect serial cable to x10 port
Power on 24vdc (AC power not necessary) on x4
Using the latest version of C3 ServoManager software (which is backwards compatible with previous firmware versions) and under Device Selection > Online device identification (double-click on left, or single-click at right on 'Click to Begin "Hardware auto-detect" '
When the C3 ServoManager uploads, it'll show what the hardware is, what it is software configured as and the Controller board version (CTP) and the existing firmware release number:
To download firmware to the Compax3, using C3 ServoManager, under Download (PC -> Compax3), select Compax3 firmware package (double-click) or single-click 'Click to Begin "Compax3 firmware download" ' and follow instructions:

For .fwp files, Microsoft Internet Explorer doesn't recognize this extension and will default as .zip. Change the pulldown to All File Types and change the .zip back to .fwp:
