Spoiler Alert!!!  This document will not attempt to teach you all about Databases or Database Management.  For that, you should take a course or read a book on that very large and complex topic.  Instead, this covers the very basic things you need to do to create (or connect to) a database through InteractX development software and set up the application to record data (tags) as desired.  The following steps assume you already have a basic project structure and the full list of desired tags in your InteractX project.

This document applies to InteractX 3.0 and later.  Data transfer functionality was first added in version 3.0.  If you are using versions older than that, you will need to upgrade to get this functionality.  Backup your old project prior to upgrading it!!!
