HOW DO I CHANGE THE BTORQ.DAT FILE?

All of the motor data in the Sizing & Selection software is contained within the btorq.dat file. Given a different file, btorqnew.dat for example, the existing btorq.dat can be renamed and replaced.

If the Sizing software is in the C:\SIZING directory, then the btorq.dat file will be in the C:\SIZING directory as well.

Using some examples:
Rename btorq.dat to btorqold.dat. Put btorqnew.dat into the C:\SIZING directory and rename it to btorq.dat.

By changing this file, one may update the Sizing software or even size older motors such as the ones in the Sustaining file.
