When a sequence is defined,

DEL SETUP
DEF SETUP
{body}
END

the choice of name sometimes causes a problem. Names such as TEST or HOME (in place of SETUP) sometimes keep the program from running correctly. They are too similar to commands for the controller.

Nor can names begin with a number. 3MOVE does not work, but MOVE3 does. 3MOVE will cause the controller to choke and a RESET needs to be issued.

The controllers only recognize 6 letters for a sequence name. So, MOTION1 and MOTION2 are considered the same program by the controller (the controller will truncate both to be MOTION).
