The Daedal GTR142 precision gearheads are obsolete and no longer available. For replacements, the Stealth RS142 servo class gearbox is a very close replacement.

Performance comparison:

Dimensional comparison:

GTR Ratios were 4, 5, 8, 10, 16, 20, 25, 32, 40, 64, 100.
RS standard ratios are 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 100.
RS with 8:1 and 64:1 ratios are available as custom. Other ratios can be investigated as custom.

Dimensional comparison presumes a standard GTR S7 output shaft option.
Custom RS142 gearboxes with lower backlash for high-accuracy applications are available.
Custom RS142 gearboxes with shorter output shaft lengths for drop-in replacement are available.

Note that the Stealth gearheads and mounting kits are purchased as separate items:

  1. RS142-010-LH.....Inline RS142 Stealth gearhead, 10:1 ratio low backlash, Horizontal orientation*

  2. MZ142-185.........Mounting kit

The MZ142-185 is the mounting kit for the MPP142 motor. When ordered together on the same order as consecutive line items, the mounting kit will be attached to the gearhead. Hardware to fit the motor to the adapter is also provided. For all other mounting kit part numbers, see the mounting kit search tool on parkermotion.com

For Stealth Gen I gearheads, orientation is designated in the part number which affects the oil fill. H is horizontal, U is gearhead pointing up, D is gearhead pointing down, E for motor shaft down & output horizontal, F for motor shaft up & output horizontal. For diagrams see Gen1 catalog pages.
The above is summarized based on catalog specifications. However, application requirements may be different; the RX142 Stealth gearhead could also be considered for lower accuracy applications. Please contact your local Parker ATC to review machine requirements or for gearhead sizing assistance.

For torque and sideload/axial load capacity, see catalog pages.
