In the case a user is porting code from the ACR2000 the ACR1500 the following points must be considered:

• ACR1500 user memory is fixed at 128k. By comparision, the ACR2000 might have 128k or 512k. The same program might not fit on the ACR1500.

• ACR1500 runs slightly slower than the ACR2000.

• ACR1500 has maximum of 48 I/O standard instead of 32 I/O standard and expandable to 288 for the ACR2000. Additionally, on the ACR1500, Inputs and Outputs can be swapped in groups of 8.

• ACR1500 can take both a 12-bit or the 16-bit ADC option. ACR2000 only will take 12-bit.

Except for the above considerations the conversion is very easy!
