How Do I Select What Type of Actuator I Want to Use?
You might want to use an electric cylinder but it looks like there are only rodless actuators. This is actually not the case. The selection for basic start up parameters such as the type of actuator (rodless vs electric cylinder), the accuracy/repeatability required, the preferred type of drive train/guidance area at the end of the form instead of the beginning. This format was created to reduce confusion. If you go through the sizing tool and provide information in the order requested, you'll be presented with all actuators that work at the end. This includes when you'll have the option to filter to specific actuator types, such as rodless.
