AC30 Firmware Revisions and Numbering Scheme

 The firmware is listed on the Main Menu page on the 3rd line down: 

 

  1. AC30V firmware Will be 1.x.x and AC30P / AC30D firmware will be 2.x.x, 3.x.x or 4.x.x

    1. You will need PDQ or PDD to connect to the drive.

  2. If you see BOTH an "LN x.x.x" and "DRV x.x.x" firmwares you have a LINKnet AC30. "LN" denotes LinkNet firmware is installed. "DRV" denotes the underlying Codesys firmware.

    1. You will need DSELite to connect to a LINKnet drive.

 

AC30 Codesys Firmware numbering scheme

The AC30 firmware for Codesys consists of three fields, as shown below:

 

For example, if a user has an AC30D to be used with Ethernet I/P communications, they would select firmware 3.XX.X where the X's represent the newest firmware available, or the revision appropriate for their application.
