690+: Is the Keypad Detachable During Operation?

If you would like to connect to the drive while the drive is running, you can remove the keypad only if the drive is being controlled through the remote terminal connections (ie NOT local mode operation).

Otherwise you will be unable to control the drive while connected to it.
