GM Motors - Replacing Bayside GM Gearmotors

Below is a summary chart of the motor specifications for the Bayside GM gearmotors and the closest standard Parker motor. The GM motors included an integrated motor, feedback and gearhead. PX series gearheads can be added to the BE or MPP series motors listed below, matching the ratio of the GM.  See below for examples.  Right-angle RX series gearheads are also available for applications needing those or replacing older custom GR gearmotors (GM but with right-angle gearheads).

As these aren't an exact replacement, it would be good to review the application speed & torque requirements and review the motor sizing. Your local Parker Automation Technology Center (ATC) has automation engineers on staff that can help in this upgrade. Note below torque and current ratings are maximums. ie, a BE231D motor at 1.4 A instead of the full rated 1.9 would give 0.49Nm torque

Custom wound servo motors are available to match the previous GM motor specs. If interested, contact your local Parker ATC for a custom motor/gearmotor quote. We can also provide BE or MPP motors with pinouts to match the previous GM gearmotors as custom.
