Warning! There is a silver security key that strongly resembles a battery and is in a holder similar to a battery holder. On the mother board next to the holder the word "Security" is screened onto the board. This is the runtime security key that allows Interact runtime to start. If this key is lost, damaged or fails the application will not start and give an error something like Security key missing or Security key not programmed to support this device or module. If this happens, to get the unit running again, it will be necessary to upgrade the Interact software to version 7 which no longer looks for a security key. That key has been out of production since the late 2000s and no replacements exist.
