PAC340 - Web Browser Login and Default IP Address

Starting-up via the web interface

The device must be connected to the network with the correct settings before it can be used.

Upon delivery, the IP-address and network mask are set to:

• IP address: 169.254.255.XX   where XX corresponds to the last 2 digits of the device serial number (see example below). Exception: 00 becomes 100. 

• Network mask: 255.255.255.0

This setting can be used for initial setup of the device in the IP network.

1. Supply power to the device (24 V).

2. Connect the device to PC using a Ethernet network cable (X4).

3. Open a web browser on the PC

4. Enter the IP address of the device into the web browser.  https://169.254.255.xx

If browser throws a warning, click advanced, the click proceed.
