6K Hardware - How to Connect an Older Parker Step Motor's Encoder (-E Option) to 6K
Parker step motors with encoders are flying leads. The 6K uses a 9pin D-sub connector for the encoder attachment, which is easy enough to find at your local electronics shop and solder the wires.
As another option, a VM25 screw-terminal DIN-rail moutable breakout module could be purchased. The cable 71-018382-01 is a 1-foot (~ 300mm) length that connects the encoder connector to the VM25 module.
