What Replaces My Old CTC PowerStation That Is Running Interact?

February 3, 2025— Parker’s Electronic Motion and Controls Division (EMC) will discontinue the sale, manufacture, and support of Parker Industrial HMI product. These products are the Interact, InteractX, and InteractXpress lines of software; as well as all of their corresponding hardware & accessories.
A last time buy period ends on July 30, 2025, or when inventory has been depleted, whichever occurs first. The Parker website will reflect obsolescence by July 30, 2025.
Warranties for products purchased during this period will be one year. Parker will offer support for units inside of warranty. Post-sale support will not be available for units outside of warranty.

Please reach out to your regional Automation Technology Centers for solutions to your HMI needs.

Keep in mind the following BEFORE ordering a new unit.

  1. The PA2 and P13 series do not support PC104/ISA bus cards.  If you are using these, please re-evaluate the application.

  1. The PA2 and P13 series ONLY has 2 serial ports.  If you are using more than 2 serial connections or printing from LPT1, please re-evaluate the application.

We no longer manufacture hardware with 3 com ports or Parallel Printer Ports that can run MSDOS Interact Runtime.

  1. Interact Software upgrade is REQUIRED.  Interact Software is only compatible with Windows XP and will not work in Window 7 XP Mode. 

  1. Interact software is an additional purchase.

Interact:

  • PA2 units are pre-loaded with (and require) Interact7 runtime.

  • ALL optional runtime modules are included with every PA2. With older versions of Powerstations like the PA, runtime modules were selected with additional cost to the hardware.

  • PA2s can run projects developed in older versions of Interact, but must first be upgraded using Interact 7
