If a program is running in the 6K that has error checking enabled, downloading a program may cause a problem.

If the error checking is checking for a Kill command (ERROR bit #5), and the user attempts to download from Motion Planner and assumes that Motion Planner will kill the program that is running in the 6K, the download can lock up the communications between Motion Planner and the 6K.

To solve this problem, cycle power on the 6K and then Motion Planner needs to be closed and restarted to re-initialize communications. You may have to issue the command !ERRORxxxx0 to disable error checking on a KILL command from the terminal before downloading the program.
