The OEM750 has a remote input. To use it as a shutdown input one should wire a short between the remote and current screw terminals on the drive. It is important to remember that this function does not shut down the chopping amplifier. Rather it simply regulates 0 amps. This means that the motor will cog if the customer trys to turn the rotor after activating the remote input. The chopper will regulate equal and oposite current that is induced by the regeneration of the motor. Also, the chopper will make as much electrical noise as it would if the remote input is not active.

To get a true shutdown input on the OEM750, you will have to purchase a custom version of the OEM750, p/n:
