All LINK fiber optic products are discontinued, including the fiber optic cable stock used to connect different modules.  However, the fiber optic cable stock is a common variety and can be purchased from several vendors.  The type of cable required is GHCP4001 (1000 µm diameter simplex).  Fiber optic cables offered by Parker were typically plastic for their higher durability, but glass fiber optic cables were sometimes used for long cable runs.

Although LINK components are no longer available, many older machines can be updated to use LINKnet, allowing them to remain viable well into the future.  LINKnet is Parker's Ethernet-based follow-on to LINK and is backwards compatible with many older drives.  For more information on upgrading from LINK to LINKnet, contact us at emn.service@support.parker.com.
