The Ripped series (and older Glide series) ironcore linear motors have an HED module option. The HED is a hall-effect device that connects to the Ripped series coils and provides hall-effect sensor feedback and the limit & home position sensors. The end-of-travel (EOT) and home sensors are activated by the limit switch magnet targets.

As a summary of the attached document:
The default wiring has the EOT and home sensors as normally closed. If the source power pin for the sensor is left unconnected, the sensor will be an NPN sinking output.

The sensor can be changed to PNP sourcing by applying voltage to the source power pin for any or all of the sensors.

The sensors can be changed from normally closed to normally open by connecting the polarity select input to limit ground.
