Idle Message on Display

When running a SLVD drive and the display no longer shows RUN but IDLE, there is a problem with connections to the X6 terminal. The X6 terminal houses the motor connections to the drive and the AC input power.

  1. Check the connector itself and make sure the connections are secured.

  2. Ohm out the motor cable and make sure there is a consistent connection.

  3. Ohm out the motor and make sure the appropriate resistance per phase is correct.

  4. There could be a problem on the X6 connector in the drive. Consult Applications Engineering Department 1-800-358-9070
