What Is an ESD Coating?

ESD is electro static discharge, or a charge that builds up on moving objects that are not grounded. Our MX80 low ESD option involves coating the top and base plates with an Electroless Nickel coating to make the entire system conductive. As long as the cabling is properly grounded, the entire table will have a low resistance to ground path.
