Peak Current Time from Compumotor Drives
It is important when sizing a servo motor to use the peak torque region for a period of time to make sure that the drive can output that much current for the required time. The specs for all our drives and their maximum time for outputing peak current are below.
Note: Most motors can take a peak current for longer periods of time than a drive can supply, but this is dependant on the motor specs and mounting or heatsinking.
