ViX - RS232 Connections

The Vix drives do not use the standard pins for RS232 communications. The pinouts are as follows:
VIX----------FUNCTION
Pin 3---------GROUND
Pin 4---------RX
Pin 5---------TX
PC-----------FUNCTION (9 pin connector)
Pin 2---------RX
Pin 3---------TX
Pin 5---------GROUND
The cable must be a crossover cable. This means that pin 2 on your PC must be connected to pin 5 on the Vix and pin 3 on your PC must be connected to pin 4 on the Vix.
