Flashing Drive Fault LED On APEX 615N

If the Drive Fault LED on the APEX6151, APEX6152 or APEX6154 is flashing instead of being constantly lit, it cannot be cleared by any of the standard troubleshooting methods located in the APEX615n User Guide Troubleshooting section. You must check Dip Switches 1, 4, 5, and 6 on Dip Switch Bank SW3 of the APEX controller. These particular dip switches are reserved for the drive-only APEX units and should always be set to the OFF position in the APEX controllers.

When any of these dip switches are set to the ON position, the drive will not enable (even if all other hardware and software setup parameters are correct), and the red Drive Fault LED will flash until these dip switch settings are set to OFF.
