Video: How To Configure Aries Servo Drives

This video shows how to use the Aries Support Tool software to configure a Aries servo amplifier (AR-xxAE, AR-xxAR, AR-xxSE, AR-xxSR).

Use the communications dongle (71-021609-01) and serial null modem cable (71-016939-10) to connect the Aries amplifier to a PC.

If using a PC without a 9pin COM port, use the Cables Unlimited USB2920 USB to RS232 serial adapter. This has the FTDI chipset. Other adapters may not work correctly. Specifically adapters using the Prolific chipset do not work on Windows7 or newer machines.
