Dynaserv Static Brake Option

The Dynaserv product line offers a static mechanical brake option for some of the "A" and "B" series Dynaserv motors. This failsafe brake is powered by 24VDC, 3 Amps. The holding torque is 20 Nm for the "B" motors and 100 Nm for the "A" motors. The brake adds approximately 50mm to the height of the "A" series motors and approximately 40mm to the height of the "B" series motors. Please contact the Applications Engineering Department to receive a copy of the exact dimensions.

This brake must be ordered at the time of the original Dynaserv purchase and it is not field installable. The static brake option is available only for the following Dynaservs:

The brake option is not available for the DM-1004B, DM-1004C, DR-1008B or any of the "E" series motors.
