OEM67N Peak Current, Resistor Selection

In the OEM67n series, there are three current configuration resistors, R23, R24, & R25. They affect how the peak current and foldback circuitry works. Among them is R24, the Peak Current resistor.

In each OEM67n Series user guide, there is a table that correlates the value of R24 to the peak current. This is the maximum current that the drive will ever send to the motor.

This table does not refer to current values less than 3 amps of peak current for a reason. The circuit is not linear and the table may not be extrapolated down to 0 amps.

So in summary, we do not recommend nor do we support setting peak current below 3 amps in the OEM67n Series products.
