How Do I Find an OEM Device Address?

You can use the # command to query the x-based controller/indexer and find it's device address. The software guide does not document this procedure but you can enter a # character in the terminal editor (# will be hidden) and press Enter. For example if you enter just the # character and press Enter, the controller/indexer should return a *#6 if the device address is 6. This will only work when you are connected to a single OEM (no daisy chain). Note how this command works like the R command does when checking the controller/indexer for its status.
