VS motors with flying leads are all 8-Lead (plus a ground) motors.
VS23 and 34-Frame motors with the R10 cable are also 8-Leads (plus a ground).
VS17-Frame motors with the R10 cable are only 4-Leads (plus a ground) and wired in Series. This is because the 8-Lead cable would not fit through the cable hole of the motor.
