Clear All Memory in an ACR Controller

Performing a Return to Factory settings or clearing the memory on a ACR card requires the following steps to be entered at the "SYS>" prompt.

For the ACR7000, ACR9000, ACR9030, ACR9040 or PAC ACR9600, ACR9630 or ACR9640

  1. FLASH RES

This command returns the controller to factory settings.
Performs the following actions:

  • Clears all memory dimensioned for programs, variable, arrays, and data logging

  • Resets the communication stream dimensions

  • Erases all system parameters

  • Erases user images from flash memory

  • Resets the hardware configuration

  • Cycles power to the controller

  • Resets ip address to default (192.168.10.40 subnet 255.255.255.0)

  • ACR7000 default ip address (192.168.100.1 subnet 255.255.255.0)

 

 

For the IPA or AriesCE

  1. FLASH RES

Command returns the controller to factory settings.
Performs the following actions:
Erases motor configuration and user programs (ERASE + FLASH ERASE)

Resets IP address to default (set via rotary dial switches) (192.168.100.x subnet 255.255.255.0,  where x is the rotary switch value)

 

 

 

For the ACR8020 and ACR1505

  1. HALT ALL

  2. NEW ALL

  3. DETACH ALL

  4. CLEAR

  5. ERASE

  6. FLASH ERASE

  7. CONFIG CLEAR

  8. CLEAR DPCB

  9. CLEAR COM1

10. CLEAR COM2
11. BRESET
12. REBOOT

For the ACR1200, ACR1500, ACR2000, ACR8010

  1. HALT ALL

  2. NEW ALL

  3. DETACH ALL

  4. CLEAR

  5. ERASE

  6. FLASH ERASE

  7. CONFIG CLEAR

  8. CLEAR FIFO

  9. CLEAR COM1

10. CLEAR COM2
11. BRESET
12. REBOOT
