Gearhead Misc - NE/NR Mounting Kits

For a standard Nema23 dimension motor, the MM23-000 is a pinion-only mounting kit (no adapter flange) that can be used. This is ordered as a second line item to the gearhead and is supplied at no charge with the purchase of the gearbox.

If needing to order as a spare/replacement, use part number: MM23-000-MKO   (Mounting Kit Only). This is the same item but for orders without a gearhead.  The pinion is the same for either the inline or right angle.

The MM23-000 fits a motor with these dimensions:
SHAFT DIAMETER: 0.25-in
SHAFT LENGTH: 0.81-in
PILOT DIAMETER: 1.50-in
BOLT HOLE: 0.195-in
BOLT CIRCLE: 2.625-in
COMMENTS: Standard NEMA 23 Motor, NO ADAPTOR NEEDED

The pinion should be located .435-in from the motor face and tighten:

For the NE34 or NR34, for standard Nema34 dimension motor, the MM34-000 and MM34-016 are pinion-only mounting kits (no adapter flange) that can be used. This is ordered as a second line item to the gearhead and is supplied at no charge with the purchase of the gearbox.

For MM34-000, if needing to order as a spare/replacement, use part number: MM34-000-NE-MKO   (NE34 inline, Mounting Kit Only), or MM34-000-NR-MKO   (NR34 right angle, Mounting Kit Only).  This is the same item but for orders without a gearhead. The pinion is different for the inline NE34 vs the right-angle NR34.

For MM34-016, if needing to order as a spare/replacement, use part number: MM34-016-NE-MKO   (NE34 inline, Mounting Kit Only), or MM34-016-NR-MKO   (NR34 right angle, Mounting Kit Only).  This is the same item but for orders without a gearhead. The pinion is different for the inline NE34 vs the right-angle NR34.

MM34-000 is for a Nema34 dimension motor with 0.375-inch motor shaft diameter:

SHAFT LENGTH: 1.25-in
PILOT DIAMETER: 2.875-in
BOLT HOLE: 0.218-in THRU
BOLT CIRCLE: 3.875-in
COMMENTS: STD (3/8) NEMA 34 MOTOR, NO ADAPTOR NEEDED

The pinion should be located .825-in from the motor face and tighten (no drawing).

 

MM34-016 is for a Nema34 dimensions motor with 0.50-inch motor shaft diameter:
PN: MM34-016
SHAFT DIAMETER: 0.50-in
SHAFT LENGTH: 1.25-in
PILOT DIAMETER: 2.875-in
BOLT HOLE: 0.218-in THRU
BOLT CIRCLE: 3.875-in
COMMENTS: STD (1/2) NEMA 34 MOTOR, NO ADAPTOR NEEDED

The pinion should be located .862-in from the motor face and tighten:

MM42-000 is for a 5/8" motor shaft diameter:

SHAFT LENGTH: 1.38-in
PILOT DIAMETER: 2.186-in
BOLT HOLE: 0.281-in THRU
BOLT CIRCLE: 4.95-in
COMMENTS: STD NEMA 42 MOTOR, NO ADAPTOR NEEDED

The pinion should be located .983-in from the motor face and tighten:
