Ethernet Download to a CTC Pannel.

Downloading to a CTC Panel via Ethernet Point to Point (not over LAN)...

PC:

IP Address 192.168.10.31
Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0

In Network Settings, under TCP/IP for the network card that is desired, click the Advanced tab and select Set this protocol to be the default at the bottom of the screen.

RESTART THE COMPUTER EVEN IF IT DOESN'T TELL YOU THAT THIS IS NEEDED!!!

CTC Panel:

IP Address 192.168.10.29 (default, must be on Net 1)
Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
Interface Type NE2000 (Use I82557 for PS Series)
IRQ 10
PORT 280h

MachineShop:

Add a Connection
Connection Type: MachineShop Net (Serial/LAN)
Network Connection: LAN
Define Runtime System Now and Select Details
Select MachineShop Net Name

If it has not been changed, the name should be "CTC" which can be verified in the MachineShop Shell on the PowerStation.

Hit Next, then Finish.

To download you must have a crossover cable or a hub and the PowerStation must be at the front page of the MachineShop Shell. To get there, if you are using Motion Panel, go to the COMSTATUS panel and select Configure Comm and select yes. If you are not using Motion Panel, exit your application and Interact.

Select download in the transfer drop-down menu in MachineShop on the PC. Download the complete project. The PowerStation will give a warning on the screen. Allow the project to download. After download the PC will ask you if you want to reboot the Runtime System. This is not necessary. From the PowerStation, select run and Interact to run you application.
