P Series Drives - Red Triangle in PAM

The P series drives descriptor files were added to Parker Automation Manager(PAM) 1.2.1

The P series is compatible with PAM version 1.2.0 or later, users can install the EtherCAT device descriptor file (.xml). These are available on the website product page.

If this file isn't installed, the PD-xxC will be in error (Red Triangle icon) in the EtherCAT network and the Status will be No driver found:

After downloading these files, they can be installed in Parker Automation Manager through Tools > Device Repository. Set Location to System Repository and then use Install...  Set Files of Type: to All supported description files and then navigate to the file and click Open.

Note that there are descriptor files added in 1.2.1 for the EtherCAT drive and the Indexing(step/dir) drive. Only the EtherCAT drive is compatible with the PAC.
