At Servo Cards & Windows NT - OS Lock-Up

Users of AT6250 or AT6450 ISA bus servo controller cards (serial numbers between 960314-xxxxx and 000215-xxxxx) have experienced compatibility problems when attempting to download AT Operating System Version 4.7 to communicate with their AT cards.
The problem that occurs is this: While attempting to download the AT Operating System via Compumotor's Motion Architect software, AT OS Version 4.7 will cause the software to lock up between 2% and 5% through the OS download process. This occurs with AT cards which have DSP Firmware versions* 4.1 through 4.7.
It is recommended that you replace this version of the AT OS on your computer with AT Operating System Version 4.72. Using AT OS Version 4.72 instead of Version 4.7 will eliminate the lock-up condition when the OS is downloaded through Motion Architect.

*(NOTE: The DSP Firmware version number will be located on a white sticker affixed to the 1�" x �" EPROM chip located near the center of the ISA board. The physical location of this EPROM is socket # U25 on the AT board. It will be labeled with either the number 92-14177-01 or 92-14177-02 for the AT6250, and either 92-14178-01 or 92-14178-02 for the AT6450. ***)
