ISA-Based Controller Addresses

There are two different "numbers" associated with the address of the ISA-based ACR controllers (ACR1500 and ACR200). These numbers are the "logical device number" and the "card number".

The "logical device number" is stricly related to the drivers (DLL's) used to interface with the card.

For the 1500 and 2000 cards, "card number" relates to the I/O address space used and is set via dipswitches.

The "logical device number" presented by the driver does not necessarily correspond with the "card number" as advertised by the ACR1500/2000 card.
