General - Industrial Servo Motors in Low Temperature Applications

Parker's standard motors are rated to run down to -20 C. Modifications can be made to extend the minimum temperature depending on how extreme the conditions are.

If the ambient temperature is below -20 C and above -30 C, we would offer the following:

• Use bearings packed with Mobil 28 grease

• May not use incremental nor EnDat encoders; only available options are Hiperface and resolver

• Custom PS connectors suitable for low temperature environments

If the ambient is below -30 C and above -50 C:

• May only use resolvers
