The new MPW Series extends the MPP motor family to meet the needs of those applications exposed to high pressure, highly caustic, washdown environments. Specific applications can be found in such markets as Food and Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Packaging, and any other application that may be exposed to a harsh environment (salt, fog and humidity).

  • 10 models covering three frame sizes of 90, 115, and 142 mm

  • Sealed to IP69K for 1200 psi washdown requirements

  • Potted stator design for improved thermal efficiency

  • 3.9 - 25 Nm (35 to 227 in-lbs) continuous torque (230 and 460 VAC supply)

  • Options include high resolution encoders, resolvers, and 24 V brake

  • Cable options available to plug and play with A-B Kinetix and Kollmorgen AKD drives

Parker's MPW series servo motors offer many advantages over the AB MPS series motors:

  • The Parker MPW does not have a seam on the front of the motor. Single piece construction eliminates the seam on the front of the motor. The MPS has a seam on the front of the motor that potentially is an ingress point for contamination or washdown liquids.

  • Potted construction of the MPW gives better thermal conductivity and better speed-torque performance than the MPS' servo motor in a can design

  • MPW's 300 series housing is electropolished providing smoother surface for better resistance to contaminants

  • Full range of feedback options: Stegmann Hyperface SinCos absolute (multiturn or single-turn), Heidenhain EnDat absolute (multiturn), incremental encoder or resolver. You're not locked into only Allen-Bradley drives with our motor. You can use AB Kinetic drive, our drive or other manufacturer's drives.

  • Double o-ring on rear plate of motor offers twice the protection of AB's single o-ring.
