6K Troubleshooting - I Cannot ARP -S in WIN95
If you do not have "File Sharing" enabled in Network Properties, you will not be able to statically map the IP address to the Ethernet address (ARP -S). Simply enable File Sharing in the Network Properties dialog box to allow the static mapping of Ethernet address.
