Does ANIEN affect which Analog Inputs are sampled through the Com6srvr Fast Status?
No.
The Com6srvr Fast Status reflects the state of the first two analog inputs on the Serial I/O. Setting 1ANIEN.1=0 (effectively disabling the analog input) merely forces the Com6srvr to read zero. Similarly setting 1ANIEN.1=1 will force the Com6srvr to read an analog input with a one volt input level.
