6K Software - How to Disable the Power-Up Banner Message

To disable the 6K startup banner message, just address the unit to a non-zero value using the ADDR command. Only address zero will print out a startup banner message.

 

Example banner message:
*PARKER COMPUMOTOR 6K4 MOTION CONTROLLER
*NO REMOTE PANEL

 

To disable startup banner message:
ADDR1

*** This will disable banner messages on both communication ports on the 6K. ***

 

To enable start-up banner message:
ADDR0
